My medical care has been excellent but the continuance of care is extremely difficult. It is difficult to get an appointment, follow up appointment unless it’s an emergency. I am grateful that unknown precancerous things were removed from my bowel but the original problem of constant stomach pain, diarrhoea etc is only now being addressed and it’s been 1 year . I waited 2 months for initial appointment, 1 month for colonoscopy, 2 months for op , was told to wait 1 month to get results but rang and waited 2 weeks , Waited another six weeks for appointment to address original issue . All the while with low grade pain and diarrhoea every day unable to participate in regular life. I have complete faith in the medical care but expect that your diagnosis and treatment will take years.

My surgeon Dr Sheryn Cheah is an outstanding Doctor by all measures. Highly intelligent, professional and empathetic. I believe she saved my life!

The team at CWLS, ensured I was mentally and physically ready for my surgery. This meant that post surgery at every milestone, there were no surprises and I had very few questions for the team every time they checked in. It was a very personable experience and I felt very safe throughout. Nearly a year post surgery, I’m a new person, the Weightloss is a given, but the energy, the confidence and the joy I have in life is something I’ve never experienced! That is priceless. And I’ve huge thanks to the CWLS team and Mr Low for helping me find that.
