I recently visited Mr. Okaro for a consultation regarding my PCOS symptoms, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. He was welcoming and professional, making me feel comfortable and at ease. After my scan, he took the time to explain the results clearly and thoroughly. We agreed on a comprehensive plan of action moving forward, which made me feel optimistic and supported. The whole experience having surgery performed by Mr khazali and his entire team has been faultless. I felt in such safe hands and reassured at every step. The care at the Lister Hospital was excellent and follow up has been brilliant from phone calls from the nursing team and quick email responses from Mr Khazali when my GP had a query about ongoing medication. I recovered remarkably quickly from a complex operation which I’m sure is down to the surgeon’s skill and the care and advice I received.

From the beginning of my treatment, Mr Minas took special care to guide me through a very complex surgery. He approached my treatment with care and empathy and I felt like I was in safe hands. He was extremely patient and answered my questions thoroughly yet in a way that was easy for me to understand. He has always remained sensitive to my concerns which has helped ease my fears and anxieties about my recovery. I’m so grateful to have had Mr Minas carry out my treatment - thank you.

My first consultation with Dr Yazbek took place over a year ago. During that meeting I received all the answers to my questions with regards to managing my situation with uterine fibroids. Dr Yazbek described clearly all available treatments to me, their benefits and potential risks. While still on the NHS waiting list, I have decided that I needed more urgent help as the fibroids were still growing and making my daily life rather difficult. Not only is Dr Yazbek, whom I chose to be my surgeon - a very skilled professional, but his way of communicating with a patient (calm, measured, empathetic and with great listening skills) make it very easy for me to recommend him to other patients.

Miss Nandy is absolutely, a 5 star consultant. Extremely calming, patient, professional and knowledgable. Miss Nandy always took plenty of time to explain all options to me ensuring I understood and was comfortable with everything before moving on. I felt she went above and beyond what was expected of a doctor and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Miss Nandy to anyone looking for a gynaecologist.

My experience with Mr Vakharia has been excellent. I am someone who has not previously found engagement with medical professionals easy but Mr Vakharia put me at my ease from our first consultation. Everything was explained very well and I felt comfortable to ask questions. My surgery was complicated and Mr Vakharia and the team that he worked with did an excellent job achieving results that were beyond my expectations. The post operative care has been excellent so far too.

I have been a patient of Mr Aquilina for the past twenty one years and could not be more grateful to have been introduced to him all those years ago. Initially I went to see him after a miscarriage and he then cared for me during both my subsequent pregnancies and births. He has also patiently guided me through my menopause treatment, carefully explaining and reassuring me at every stage, ultimately something that was transformative for my quality of life. My most recent appointment with him was for a mirena replacement, part of my HRT. I was extremely nervous about the procedure but he was patient, didnt make me feel rushed and did everything he could to make me as comfortable as possible. Nurse Mila was wonderful also and didn't leave my side! I can honestly say that I trust Mr Aquilina with my life and could not recommend him highly enough. His knowledge, experience and kind bedside manner would be hard to beat.
