Mr Chamma was friendly and respectful. He gave me a very detailed and clear explanation of my medical situation as well as the different treatment paths that I can now choose from. I couldn't have hoped for a more informative consultation.

From the start to the finish, Dr Anjum and his team were extremely professional and polite. I had everything explained including all the risks and success rate of such an operation. I was given advice on my condition and how to move forward according to their professional opinion. I am glad I went through with the operation to remove the tumor from my spine as I am feeling much better and pain free after many years. I was diagnosed with a meningioma and asked for a referral to Mr Dorward after careful research. I was very impressed with both the expertise and care he showed in explaining my options. After a warning from the neurosurgeon & oncologist who had been monitoring the regrowth of my meningioma in September 2023 that it required surgery & as it was a second operation it was at high risk of stroke, bleeding, bone infection, going through old scar tissue, the tumour was pressing against a large vein. My daughter suggested I sought a second opinion, we chose Mr Shoakazemi who also specialises in my type of brain tumour.  He confirmed…the risks were very high indeed, the brain tumour had grown too big for fractionated radiotherapy and surgery through the old wound of some 20 + years ago was the only option. We found Mr Shoakazemi to be extremely approachable, professional, calm, warm & informative.  I feel incredibly lucky to have had the faith on a date said to be the unluckiest day in the yearly calendar …Friday 13th October to undergo surgery with such a gifted neurosurgeon. I am (thankfully to Mr Shoakazemi) walking straight, talking straight & feeling fully blessed.
