I previously had always carried out the NHS check for bowel cancer. Following a shock diagnosis of stage 4 for one of my close relatives (with no symptoms) I decided to use this service. I was absolutely shocked to receive a result with a very high blood count found in my sample. This was only a year after having an "all clear, no blood found" in my previous sample (NHS service) The NHS processed me very quickly (colonoscopy) and I was very lucky in that I had a large polyp and another small one in my colon. Both were removed with no further treatment needed. It could have gone the other way if I had waited too long so I am very thankful for these tests. The service is so quick and efficient and the woman who phoned me to tell me the results was very professional and caring - especially as I was overseas at the time visiting my relative with the cancer and I had made her aware of this. I will buy these tests annually now. It's a small price to pay for a very good service and peace of mind.

Spire Bushey hospital have been amazing! Staff so friendly. The hospital is incredibly clean. You would think it’s a hotel rather than a hospital! If I ever need anymore treatment in the future, Bushey is the first place I will look into having it! Thank you!
