If there was ever to be a "standard" of healthcare provision - Mr Walkden is what others should aspire to. I spent over a year hopping from various opticians to another trying to work out why my vision had been deteriorating, going through various tests, prescriptions, and glasses to no avail. After finally being recommended to reach out to Mr Walkden and being fortunate to be able to afford to go private, I have made the best healthcare decision of my adult life. I booked the first consultation and within a week I was given a slot. At this first consultation not only did he establish what condition I actually had (Keratoconus) but the entire process was incredibly relaxed, informative, and I came out actually having an answer - and plan of action. Following the consultation and diagnosis, I wanted to move quickly since I am going abroad later this year, Mr Walkden again went above and beyond, finding slots previously unattainable for me to book in treatment as early as possible. I cannot stress it enough - This is how healthcare provision should be done. If I could rate 6 stars I would. Knowing that my quality of life will increase one hundred fold due to this man provides sound sleep at night. Tip to all potential clients: Do. Your. Research. Go into your consultation knowing roughly what you think you may or may not have, what those potential treatments look like, recovery times, etc. Being able to ask specific, direct questions relating to your condition or potential condition leads to feeling more confident and happy - While yes, Mr Walkden will be able to explain everything to you regardless, it makes the world of difference knowing what potentially might be happening to you.
