Positive experience Easy to find from the station and a very quick walk The reception staff were friendly and helped provide directions Waiting area was clean and the seating was comfy

HCA ancillary staff were excellent and friendly, putting me at ease. The one exception is that despite being fully covered by private medical insurance (incl pre-authorisation codes and competing multiple online forms and confirming details) the HCA administrative/ reception staff on arrival were overly focused on (and their primary priority is to) obtain credit card details and associated authorisation for extra procedures and tests which go beyond the scope of the referral and pre-authorisation in case suggested. The requested authorisation is open-ended and requested at a point when patients are vulnerable. The HCA admin staff were unable to explain why authorisation was required in my circumstances with full insurance coverage - all they could manage was a weak “it’s just our process”.

I felt so cared for as soon as I arrived. Everything was explained to me before my surgery and I was reassured right up to I was put to sleep. When I came round after surgery I could not have felt more cared for , everyone was amazing and I was continually checked on through the night. Food was amazing too, all of the staff were polite , respectful and kind.

It was excellent and the nurses and wider staff were all fantastic.

This is the second operation I have had with Prof Imam and could not be happier. Exceptional! My physiotherapist in France told me you should congratulate your surgeon for the great work. Can not recommend more!

Highly competent and dedicated staff whom make you feel safe to discuss anything openly. Their expertise is a fantastic attribute to the team. I felt understood and able to explain everything without feeling rushed and dismissed⁰

I would not recommend WEH for private. None of the staff at any of the three main receptions know how to direct you. On first visit. I was sent to two receptions before the doctor called me to find out why I wasn’t at the appointment. The next visit, I was in the right spot but even though scheduled for 8:30a as the first appointment, had to wait for 45 mins to be seen as no one else showed up until after 9am.
