The whole experience having surgery performed by Mr khazali and his entire team has been faultless. I felt in such safe hands and reassured at every step. The care at the Lister Hospital was excellent and follow up has been brilliant from phone calls from the nursing team and quick email responses from Mr Khazali when my GP had a query about ongoing medication. I recovered remarkably quickly from a complex operation which I’m sure is down to the surgeon’s skill and the care and advice I received.

His approach to explaining my medical condition and the necessary procedure was thorough and clear, which significantly helped to ease my anxieties. He consistently assured me that everything would be okay, which was incredibly comforting during a stressful time. I had seen Mr Minas for a gynaecology consult. From the start he had shown me his professionalism as well as a lot of empathy. He explained everything very clearly, including the pros and cons of the surgery. I had the full confidence in him. I am really happy that the surgery went well. Thanks to Mr Minas. I fully recommend him to anyone who has gynaecological issues especially related to fibroids.

Dr Disu is an excellent surgeon. He is professional, passionate and dedicated. I had a laparoscopy and excision of endometriosis in July 2022 and Dr Disu took time to explain absolutely everything. Unfortunately, I had severe complications after my surgery (due to another health condition) and had a second surgery with Dr Disu a week later. Again, he explained everything and I trusted him completely. Dr Disu promised to visit me and kept in touch with me throughout my 2 month stay in the hospital. He visited me in ITU and in the Wards and I am so grateful to have such a caring doctor. I recently had a follow up appointment with Dr Disu and it was great to see him again and discuss my ongoing treatment. I highly recommend Dr Disu.

I have been a patient of Mr Aquilina for the past twenty one years and could not be more grateful to have been introduced to him all those years ago. Initially I went to see him after a miscarriage and he then cared for me during both my subsequent pregnancies and births. He has also patiently guided me through my menopause treatment, carefully explaining and reassuring me at every stage, ultimately something that was transformative for my quality of life. My most recent appointment with him was for a mirena replacement, part of my HRT. I was extremely nervous about the procedure but he was patient, didnt make me feel rushed and did everything he could to make me as comfortable as possible. Nurse Mila was wonderful also and didn't leave my side! I can honestly say that I trust Mr Aquilina with my life and could not recommend him highly enough. His knowledge, experience and kind bedside manner would be hard to beat.
