Well organised and clean

I had my first appointment with dietician Pooja Dhir who immediately put me at ease when we first spoke. It was a video consultation however Pooja was calm, reassuring, gentle in her probing and engaged. I felt heard. Her follow up notes were comprehensive. It was a particularly stressful time for me and my family and she was truly a light in the dark. We had two follow up appointments and each time she was knowledgeable and friendly - I felt I had made a friend by the time our third session concluded! I cannot thank her enough.

Every member of the team was a delight to deal with - from sonographers to nurses and receptionists. Pre and post appointment care was impressive - from bookings to proactive calls to check in post-op.

I had an appointment booked for some Bloods at midday. I was maybe one or two minutes late but was still waiting at 12.20pm at which point i approached the desk to find that they were struggling to check my authorisation number despite me having emailed it to the booking administrator earlier, and despite sitting in the waiting room (so they could have asked me). When I finally went to see the nurse for the tests she didn’t a copy of the request form despite me having emailed it to the booking administrator the previous day. So a further delay whilst she went to ‘get the right tubes’. Please sort out the co-ordination between your departments

This is the second operation I have had with Prof Imam and could not be happier. Exceptional! My physiotherapist in France told me you should congratulate your surgeon for the great work. Can not recommend more!

HCA ancillary staff were excellent and friendly, putting me at ease. The one exception is that despite being fully covered by private medical insurance (incl pre-authorisation codes and competing multiple online forms and confirming details) the HCA administrative/ reception staff on arrival were overly focused on (and their primary priority is to) obtain credit card details and associated authorisation for extra procedures and tests which go beyond the scope of the referral and pre-authorisation in case suggested. The requested authorisation is open-ended and requested at a point when patients are vulnerable. The HCA admin staff were unable to explain why authorisation was required in my circumstances with full insurance coverage - all they could manage was a weak “it’s just our process”.

Highly competent and dedicated staff whom make you feel safe to discuss anything openly. Their expertise is a fantastic attribute to the team. I felt understood and able to explain everything without feeling rushed and dismissed⁰
