After the X-rays he suggested a steroid injection in my right shoulder and I must day that the result was fantastic. Mr Akhtar recently carried out a rather complex revision surgery on my right shoulder. Due to his excellent surgical skills and obvious expertise in this area of surgery the procedure was carried out by the keyhole surgical technique. Throughout my consultations and following my surgery Mr Akhtar explained everything in terminology that was easy to follow. The keyhole procedure also meant a quicker recovery and less damage to surrounding structures. I am delighted at the speed of my recovery whilst under his care and also the range of movement I now have in my shoulder. I would happily recommend Mr Akhtar to anyone requiring shoulder surgery .
