After having an in-depth consultation which involved Mr Elmiyeh looking at my 4 year old Daughter’s tonsils (which were touching) he recommended both a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. Obviously, being a Mum; I was apprehensive about my Daughter having an operation but he quickly put my mind at ease. From the moment we walked in on the day of the operation, if you could say it was a wonderful experience it would have been. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel at ease and talked us through each stage. I was present when my Daughter was anaesthetised and also when she was waking up in recovery. She has had absolutely no problems since the operation, eating within a few hours and needing very little pain relief. Her recovery has been amazing. He has been proactive in keeping in contact with me and has gone above and beyond throughout. I can’t put into words how much this operation has changed our lives and can’t thank Mr Elmiyeh and all involved in her care enough.
