Staff very welcoming and friendly

Every time I go I wonder if it will still be as good as the last time, and it always is. The care is excellent as is the way they look after your every need, including refreshments! Excellent from start to end of treatment and also the follow-up I receive.

The whole end to end service was excellent, very helpful and friendly staff, the procedure went smoothly and was explained, the hospital has excellent facilities and the food is first class.

HCA ancillary staff were excellent and friendly, putting me at ease. The one exception is that despite being fully covered by private medical insurance (incl pre-authorisation codes and competing multiple online forms and confirming details) the HCA administrative/ reception staff on arrival were overly focused on (and their primary priority is to) obtain credit card details and associated authorisation for extra procedures and tests which go beyond the scope of the referral and pre-authorisation in case suggested. The requested authorisation is open-ended and requested at a point when patients are vulnerable. The HCA admin staff were unable to explain why authorisation was required in my circumstances with full insurance coverage - all they could manage was a weak “it’s just our process”.
