From the first consultation with Mr Elmiyeh I was extremely impressed by both his honesty and compassion. He is very thorough and I felt completely at ease and reassured. After having an in-depth consultation which involved Mr Elmiyeh looking at my 4 year old Daughter’s tonsils (which were touching) he recommended both a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. Obviously, being a Mum; I was apprehensive about my Daughter having an operation but he quickly put my mind at ease. From the moment we walked in on the day of the operation, if you could say it was a wonderful experience it would have been. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel at ease and talked us through each stage. I was present when my Daughter was anaesthetised and also when she was waking up in recovery. She has had absolutely no problems since the operation, eating within a few hours and needing very little pain relief. Her recovery has been amazing. He has been proactive in keeping in contact with me and has gone above and beyond throughout. I can’t put into words how much this operation has changed our lives and can’t thank Mr Elmiyeh and all involved in her care enough. If you’re looking for an ENT Consultant/ Surgeon and want exceptional quality of care then look no further. Would very highly recommend. Thank you SO SO much!

Gladys was excellent. I felt much better about my Tinnitus after our initial conversation. She provided really important information that was implementable. Listen, it is really important for your recovery from Tinnitus to work with someone who understands Tinnitus on EVERY level. You won't get the insights that are truly needed if you just work with a standard counselor/therapist. ENTs are largely a waste of time. Please do yourself a favor and accept that you have Tinnitus first and it may not be medically treatable -- but it's not the end of your life and it is not forever. With Gladys and others who really understand the condition, I (anonymously) promise you that your life will get better. That's the most important thing to understand. Have some faith, work with Gladys or an audiologist who specializes in the area and if you REALLY ARE WILLING TO PUT IN THE WORK, YOU WILL RECOVER. Maybe not complete resolution, but wherever you are at right now, it will be significantly better after time and commitment and emotional investment.
