I made a quick recovery with minimum discomfort which I attribute to Mr Menenzes's skill as a surgeon and the excellent care I received from the nursing staff at the Nuffield Hospital in Woking. I was seen quickly by the surgeon who explained my problem and his suggested treatment, and was quickly given date of procedure. It went extremely well, I was discharged same day, mild pain next day, then no pain after went for follow up, surgeon and myself were very pleased with result. Very very pleased!

My gallbladder was full of stones and needed to be removed to reduce risk of pancreatitis. AXA had referred me yet again to a consultant who was not a surgeon. I would have had to call AXA and have another appointment with a surgeon but Dr Vasilikostas fitted me in after his clinic finished and scheduled me for surgery within two weeks. He was kind, reassuring and professional.
