Hence, I had as complete a picture as possible before the options were precisely explained to me. Each consultation was followed up with a comprehensive letter explaining everything we had discussed, including test results and links to relevant clinical papers and leaflets so that I could make informed decisions about my treatment. Anyone under Professor Winter’s care will find her infectious positivity incredibly reassuring during a difficult time. Importantly, I cannot thank Professor Winters enough for her patience and tenacious work during my subsequent surgery.
