I had an injury to my nose which led to it being externally and internally deviated. I put off surgery for many years as the thought of altering my appearance was very daunting. However, my breathing issues adversely affected my life; particularly when exercising at the gym where I had to rely on breathing from my mouth. So, I decided it was time for me to fix my nose and I did some research online to find a doctor. I came across Mr Ahmed on the circle health website and I was impressed by his expertise and experience. It was also good to see that he teaches others how to perform rhinoplasty procedures. Also, of note, it was highly important for me to get this surgery locally and in the UK, in case anything was to go wrong. I met with Mr Ahmed at the priory hospital on a number of occasions prior to my surgery which eased my nerves. I never felt rushed into surgery and all of my questions were answered. Mr Ahmed also made a morph of what I could expect my nose to look like which was helpful to see. It was a collaborative process where I was able to give my input and Mr Ahmed also made helpful and informed suggestions on the aesthetic changes that could be made. On the 19th of August, I had a rhinoseptoplasty. The recovery process went by quickly, and I was over the moon when my cast was removed to see that my nose looked so natural and yet so refined. I still looked like myself and my nose was aligned with my ethnic background, which was amazing. Regarding my breathing, I had forgotten how it felt to be able to breathe through my left nostril. And, from my research, the breathing will continue to improve in the next months. I am thoroughly impressed with my experience and would highly recommend Mr Ahmed to anyone considering a rhinoplasty or rhinoseptoplasty.
