Mr Ravi Sharma

Mr Ravi Sharma is a Consultant Paediatric Otolaryngologist providing the best care for children of North west England. He qualified in Delhi, India in 1987 with overseas experience working in India and Bahrain Defence forces Hospital. He undertook his postgraduate training in the Yorkshire Deanery, which is where he developed his specialist interest in Paediatric Otolaryngology. Following this, he undertook specific paediatric ENT training at Sheffield Children's Hospital as well as a clinical fellowship at Evelina Children's Hospital (part of Guys and St Thomas Hospital), London where he was trained in airway reconstructive surgery in children. He has also undertaken a Rhinology fellowship with world-renowned FESS surgeon, Prof Stammberger in Austria.

His NHS practice is based at Alder Hey Children's hospital in Liverpool and his private practice is based across the Spire Hospitals in the North West (Liverpool, Manchester and Cheshire). He has been a consultant paediatric ENT Surgeon for over 15 years.

In addition to his clinical work, is an examiner for the Joint Royal college of surgeons, responsible training of young ENT surgeons, ensuring high standards of care are provided by all. He is also an examiner for the undergraduate medical students at Liverpool University.

He sees ONLY children with ear, nose and throat disorders. Mr Sharma will be able to diagnose, investigate and provide treatment for your child and address any concerns you may have about your child's hearing, breathing or sleeping problems. The surgery he is able to perform are detailed below.

Mr Sharma maintains highest standards of safe care delivered to your child by keeping himself upto date with his skills. He is annually appraised for his clinical work and revalidated by GMC every 5 years. 

Outside work he loves meeting people, cares for 2 labrador dogs and does yoga to keep fit and maintain his wellbeing.
