This is the second time I have used Mr Bidwell for surgery, having previously had my right knee replacement operation done by him and found him to be superb in every aspect of surgery and after care. I would definitely recommend him.

Mr Fernandez was clear and concise in all our interactions. He has, in fact been truly helpful to me over many years - having replaced my left hip in 1997, which is still going strong. In particular, the whole experience of my right hip replacement in April was smooth, virtually pain-free and almost enjoyable. The recovery has been wonderful and I am ready to put my dancing shoes back on! I am immensely grateful to Mr Fernandez and his team who treated me brilliantly, with both professionalism and humanity, throughout.

After 4 years going from different physios and consultants, Mark Webb was like a beacon in the darkness (seriously, I was really starting to give up hope that someone could help me)! After being told that my pain was part of the ageing process, Mr Webb found the reason for my discomfort and quickly organised for the surgery to sort it out! 5 weeks on from the surgery, I am optimistic for a full recovery and can’t wait to start living an active lifestyle again!

I was very glad to have a consultation with Mr. William Bartlett on Tuessday the week the 9 July. He was most helpful in a swift diagnosis and positive in his assessment in the treatment needed, with the possibility of a return visit to him should further help be needed.

Mr Bansal was extremely helpful in allaying my fears by explaining the procedure to me in a very clear and concise way. The surgery went very well and Mr Bansal’s follow up procedures were beyond my expectations. He was very kind and helpful throughout the recovery period. I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

I spent a long time choosing my Consultant and was very pleased with my decision . This was based on his expertise and skill as an Orthopaedic Surgeon. Mr Griffiths is very approachable, professional, very open and honest and put me at ease straight away. I had been in pain for years with both hips and when it came to a couple of days before the surgery I had a wobble. I considered cancelling the surgery as It was daunting having major surgery and the rehabilitation required after surgery. Mr Griffiths reassured me everything would be fine and we had made the right decision and not to overthink things. I am so glad I did not back out of the surgery as the condition of the joint was worse than anticipated. I was worried and apprehensive as to how much pain I would be in after the surgery. I didn't need to worry. On day one post surgery I already had a reduction in the pain emanating from the joint and radiating up my back and down my leg. I was discharged the day after surgery. I did all of the exercises and stopped using crutches after 2 weeks post surgery. After 8 weeks Mr Griffiths then repeated the procedure on my right hip with the same great result as the left hip. He provided brilliant care, support and attention to detail with an incredible result and experience. The Hampshire Clinic was excellent in my pre- op, operation and post-op care. I would recommend using this hospital.
