I received excellent advice and wonderful care from Sam Rajaratnam. He is a brilliant, very experienced and accomplished knee consultant with a caring, patient personality. I had a left knee replacement at the Cleveland Clinic on 11th march. Sam and his team have made a difficult operation much more bearable and almost pain free. Sam has a superb team assisting him including Barry (anaethetist), Christine (Consultant Nurse), Vinnie (Practice Manager), & Steve Perry (visiting physiotherapist). I hope that I never have to have my right knee replaced, but if I do it will be 100% with Sam & his team.

Sam was clear precise and sincere when i first meet him , he had already pull info / data ref my knee issue left and right , so gave me a through consolation, with clear options and what he felt would help me in the long term I think that was so professional, yet personal and caring he treated me as individual and address my concern/worries I feel Sam has nailed the art of putting the patient first is everything he does Much appreciated

Mr Rajaratnam puts you at ease straight away. His informal, but informative caring approach makes you feel so confident about going into knee replacement surgery. Sam gives you all the facts you need to know but has a very kind and special way of telling you what will happen and what he plans to do. I felt completely at ease and confident I had picked Sam to do this surgery which I so desperately needed.

I found him very easy-going and open to questions one might have, and at the same time he instils trust and confidence in the patient concerning the expertise of him as a surgeon

From initial consultation until final consultation. Sam was professional, friendly and remarkably skilled at explaining options and what would be the outcomes. The actual procedure was a total knee replacement with ROSA assistant. The recovery time was incredible. And I'm now happily walking around and attending the gym on my new metal knee. All in all Sam is the best IMHO and am so happy with the results.
