At 13 weeks, I was referred to an Oculoplastic Surgeon who promptly diagnosed suture granulomas, a well recognised complication. Treatment was not offered by Mr. Gateley, and while waiting for urgent NHS surgery, the left granuloma erupted, causing significant damage to the surrounding skin and leaving me with functional issues and a poor aesthetic outcome. The physical and psychological impact of this surgery has been life changing. I feel incredibly let down by Mr. Gateley.
