I would not hesitate to recommend Giles Davies and his very professional, and kind, team. I was told what every step of the process would entail and what was coming next and they made the whole process very human, and very dignified. Everything was explained clearly. Thank you.

Breast Cancer

Early cancer diagnosis can be a time of terror and trauma for a patient and their family. It was certainly that for us, especially as this was my second time being told I had breast cancer. I had been assigned another breast surgeon by my health care provider and was still awaiting most diagnostic results. Thankfully my wonderful daughter said, before you go any further mum, let me do a bit of research on other surgeons for you. She came back a few hours later and said Mum I’ve found Professor Zoe Winters, I’ve spoken to her lovely Practice Manager Jenny, and she’s waiting to hear from you…. I spoke to Jenny and from that moment felt I was in not only safe hands, but immediately changed from being a patient to a person. So firstly, Zoe has surround herself by an impeccable team. More on this later… We met with Zoe a week or so later. You can read elsewhere about Zoe’s elite list of professional accolades and accomplishments (and of course we did) but alongside those, trust and communication are what turn the experience from clinically world class outcomes physically, to putting you in the strongest possible place emotionally and mentally. Having been on this journey twice now, I truly believe those factors are all equally important in determining your outcomes. From our first meeting, Zoe was laser focused on every detail of my case, working through these with us methodically and with great consideration to build our understanding of the facts and how they shaped her thinking about decisions to be made. This immediately built a deep trust and also started filling in all the scary blanks and unknowns we had about the road ahead. Those blanks that left, and drive fear and panic. She paused regularly to check our understanding and made plenty of time for our questions to surface. We left that first meeting totally reset. A huge sigh of relief that we were in the hands of the very best, and energised with new confidence. At that meeting was one of two breast care nurses (Alex and Roberta) who work in lockstep with ‘Prof Winters’ and who are so vitally important in the overall delivery of care. Again. Zoe has picked the very best. I can’t count the number of hugs I have hugged them! From their calm, gentle explanation of the post surgery drains and drips to seeing their friendly and familiar faces on the ward, to my daily text messages with them post surgery to check on my healing. They are a true lifeline, and literal angels in my eyes! I’m sorry if you are reading this, as that means you (or someone close to you) are probably in that early diagnosis swirl, it’s so tough. But my daughter read reviews like this and so I hope that this might speak to you to help your own decision in finding the right team for your own journey. Four weeks post surgery, I can honestly say, I believe my daughter finding Zoe was quite literally a life saver for me. I feel truly blessed to have been in her care and I wish everyone’s experience of this most difficult time could be eased and soothed by the expert decisions Zoe makes, the transparency and clarity with which she communicates and the holistic, person centric support that her entire team envelopes you with. This is gold standard care.

Dr. Pieri: My Confidence-Unleashing Surgeon Worth Every Hour Of Research! For months, I became a breast surgeon sleuth. Hours flew by as I devoured reviews, interrogated friends, and scoured the internet. Finding the right surgeon felt like unearthing a hidden treasure, the key to unlocking a buried confidence. But let me tell you, when I stumbled upon Dr. Pieri, it was like striking gold! My confidence was a prisoner, locked away for far too long. I craved a surgeon who could not only deliver exceptional results but also understand the emotional journey. From the meticulous research that led me to him to the moment I stepped out of his office after the first consultation, it felt different. Dr. Pieri wasn't another name on a list; he was the answer I'd been searching for. The first consultation was a turning point. Dr. Pieri listened with a patience that soothed years of anxiety. He addressed every concern, no matter how small, and explained everything in a way that empowered me. The surgery itself was a testament to his skill, but the true transformation happened when I saw the final results. Gone were the days of hiding. Now, I walk with my head held high, radiating a confidence I never thought possible. Dr. Pieri isn't just a surgeon; he's a confidence sculptor. Every agonising hour of research was worth the moment I discovered him. If you're looking for a life-changing experience, look no further than Dr. Pieri! Years and years of hating my body.. gone! In the matter of hours. I can't thank you enough Dr Pieri!

I had surgery at the end of May with Mr Chakravorty and I am over the moon with the results.. It wasn’t a surgery I was planning, it was more a need to do rather than a want to do, so I felt quite hesitant, but I needn’t have worried. Mr Chakravortty reassured me throughout, I felt very much in safe hands. It was the smoothest surgery I have undergone and the recovery has been just as easy.
