Wow Ali! What a difference! Thank you! I first met Ali when I was suffering with carpal tunnel in both wrists which was really painful. He was kind, compassionate and instantly put me at ease. Within a few days he had me in for a minor op and the relief was instant. This was followed by a speedy recovery. He checked in on me post op via WhatsApp and told me I could message if I needed to. It was a really positive experience from start to finish thanks to Ali and his lovely team. I only wish I had had it done sooner!

Mr Riley took the time to explain my situation and go over x-rays and CT scan images. He ensured I understood everything before moving on. He explained the procedure and my next steps and left me feeling very reassured and supported.

Prof Levy is a charming gentleman who is clearly an impressive expert in his field: he understood exactly the nature of my injury and explained what he was going to do in order to put it right. He used a slightly experimental ‘patch’ system to mend the tear in my rotator cuff, considering I was an appropriate candidate for it. He was right: the ultrasound today revealed, after a year, perfect healing. I have good movement, but still feel some pain, especially at night, and have been reassured it will most likely settle down, but with the offer of further pain relief in a few months, should this not be the case. My one and only objection to my treatment by Prof Levy is that, although I knew it would be painful in the first weeks and months, he might have told me before the operation that it would be EXTREMELY painful and that this was normal. I guess he was trying not to scare me, (some people might well prefer, I admit, not to be told this) but severe pain is frightening, the more so, I find, if even worse than expected. (Coincidentally I met two men who had had the same operation, both of whom admitted to extreme reactions to the pain). I wholeheartedly recommend Prof Levy - I find it difficult to believe there could be a better shoulder surgeon and I owe him a great deal.

Couldn’t have wished for a better surgeon. Personable, friendly, informative and very skilled. Delighted that he will be replacing the other hip soon.
