Small clinic meant it felt intimate and the staff were always so attentive - much more personable than going to a hospital for scans / check-ups

Better signage would be helpful.

The Portland Hospital gave me a first-class experience as a patient. My surgeon was exceptional, as was the anaesthetist. The care immediately pre- and post- op was the best possible. The nurses were wonderful: friendly, expert and highly attentive while also allowing some privacy as required. They could not have given me better care in any way. The hospital itself was a remarkably pleasant environment - my room and the whole ward was calm, well-designed and spotless. The food was very good indeed and the ambience was everything I had hoped for. I felt I was in the best possible place and my surgery there has had an excellent outcome.

This level of care and dedication is truly commendable and greatly appreciated. Thank you for your outstanding care and support.

Great experience

I had to wait 1 hour 25 mins to be seen, I nearly fell asleep in the waiting room after the reception staff even left for the days. It reminded me of NHS wait times when I go for an appointment.

The Surgeon took the procedure and the whole treatment very personal. Nurses were very caring.

Had to explain a couple of times that I had insurance even though I had filled in the necessary form.

We felt at ease from the moment we arrived and couldn’t have had been support from the full team. Thank you all for making our experience as comfortable, supportive, and reassuring as possible.
