Despite my diagnosis Professor PS made the whole experience as easy as possible for me. He explained everything fully and in simple terms. He advised on both preparation for, and post operation. Both credible and reliable PSs level of confidence was very reassuring to me throughout; he always did what he said he would do which is very rare these days. He genuinely had my best interests at heart at all points of our conversations and was always available. Whilst succint, PS has an excellent 'bedside' manner and where appropriate could inject humour to a conversation. It was also clear to me that PS was respected and well liked by the team. I attribute the success of my operation and recovery to PS's attitude, skill and knowledge for which I will always be grateful.

Very friendly, explained the process of Prostatectomy in a professional manner. Mr Cahill managed to dampen my fear and apprehension about the surgery and assured me that he will do his utmost during the procedure to protect the nerves and lessen the post operation side effects on passing ruin and the sexual life. Day before the operation, Mr Cahill phoned and reassured me that I will be taken care of.

Mr. Jonathan Noël is the best doctor ever! I have never met a doctor with so much medical knowledge & patient’s empathy in my life + together with Dr. Chan (with experience in open prostectomy surgery in Australia) they reassured me of the robotic prostectomy’s success, despite my previous surgery from a raptured appendix with possible complications from abdominal adhesions, that they’d make sure I was properly treated & my deepest thanks goes to both of them great caring doctors who chose to care for me as a human being & my concerns when they could have easily ignored me because I’m Black. He listened to me, he educated me & then he guided me to the best informed medical decision I have ever made, when I was medically so vulnerable & so afraid, since my father also died from the same condition. The whole medical team was first class, from pre-theatre admission to pre-discharge nursing. He literally took my hand, with so much love & so much compassion, and then he guided me over the finish line, when I was so desperate & at the lowest point in my life, having been a very professional architect for over 30 years who was always in charge & in full control of some of the the richest & most powerful people in the world BUT for once I felt overwhelmed & completely confused as a very accomplished Black Man in a predominately white UK. I believe he’d have done the same for anyone regardless of their social class or race because he cares about his patients regardless of their race or social status. Clear and helpful in the first consultation. Not pushy about the treatment options available despite my concerns. Calming and reassuring on the day of surgery which was successul and addressed an issue I had been living with and on an NHS waiting list for 6-months.

Mr Khoubehi was able to see me within 24 hours of request and then I had surgery within a week. I have very little scar and recovery was very quick. I needed a referral to a specialist and Mr Khoubehi was able to connect me with the best Dr in London for my problem. I would give him 10 Stars if I could. I have seen him once since and he was very caring and interested in my case.
