Very good experience overall

Mr Ali continues to provide compassionate, diligent care - including swift responses to any urgent / ad-hoc questions I have about my care outside of sessions by email. His secretaries have also been very helpful since I started my recovery with him.

All aspects of my visits to The Prostate Centre have been more than satisfactory, from waiting times, staff interactions, cleanliness and the overall environment has made me feel well looked after throughout.

Overall my experience with HCA was ok - especially the care side which was friendly and effective, but the admin side was less efficient, particularly in terms of clarity in pricing and payment processes which seemed complex and uncoordinated.

Lovely nurse, super friendly and informative, but the skin check appointment was only 20 mins and I felt the experience for the price could have been a bit longer. The check was very fast, as I'm sure it was because she was experienced, but I had to point out a couple of lesions she had missed checking. I've used this service before and felt there was more time for questions and double checking all areas last time.

This is the second operation I have had with Prof Imam and could not be happier. Exceptional! My physiotherapist in France told me you should congratulate your surgeon for the great work. Can not recommend more!

HCA ancillary staff were excellent and friendly, putting me at ease. The one exception is that despite being fully covered by private medical insurance (incl pre-authorisation codes and competing multiple online forms and confirming details) the HCA administrative/ reception staff on arrival were overly focused on (and their primary priority is to) obtain credit card details and associated authorisation for extra procedures and tests which go beyond the scope of the referral and pre-authorisation in case suggested. The requested authorisation is open-ended and requested at a point when patients are vulnerable. The HCA admin staff were unable to explain why authorisation was required in my circumstances with full insurance coverage - all they could manage was a weak “it’s just our process”.
