The criticism is that I was put on the spot to make a rushed decision on the treatment. It would have been sensible to let me go away with the options of treatment and be able to discuss with my family and then make a decision. Now I feel as though I was swayed away from going for the surgery as I wasn’t keen on it.

Mr. Lambert was totally professional in his explanations. He was very thorough in his examination of my shoulder and so so gentle in any manoeuvre to ascertain the source of my pain. He reviewed all the information presented to him and was able to exclude serious shoulder deficiencies. He was reassuring, kind and empathetic. A delightful and caring, sensible doctor. His endearing quality of humility in the face of his hugely powerful qualifications was a pleasure.

As a retired nurse I found Mr Gulihar very professional, very charming and he listened to and answered all my questions. The surgery was exactly as he explained it and so was my recovery which was excellent. Because of my quick recovery I was discharged after 6 months with almost full movement in my shoulder which was a lot more than I had before the operation. I would recommend him to anybody with a shoulder problem.
