It all went well. All went well. Very knowledgable and skilled. Had failed stabilisation before by another surgeon and saw Prof Imam for a second surgery and I was confident he is the right one.

Mr Dattani was very helpful and explained my operation in detail. The surgery was very successful and I now have a full range of pain free shoulder movement.

The criticism is that I was put on the spot to make a rushed decision on the treatment. It would have been sensible to let me go away with the options of treatment and be able to discuss with my family and then make a decision. Now I feel as though I was swayed away from going for the surgery as I wasn’t keen on it.

As a retired nurse I found Mr Gulihar very professional, very charming and he listened to and answered all my questions. The surgery was exactly as he explained it and so was my recovery which was excellent. Because of my quick recovery I was discharged after 6 months with almost full movement in my shoulder which was a lot more than I had before the operation.
