All my experiences with West Midlands Hospital have been great. The staff are friendly and helpful. There wait times were minimal and the different departments within the hospital work well together. My experience at the hospital was fantastic. The secretary was very helpful from start to finish with my surgery. After the operation I had my own room and the ward staff were unbelievable attentive and friendly. The staff regularly checked on me and I didn’t feel worried to ask for medicine, food, water, help moving at any point. I don’t feel quite ready to head home on day 3 as my blood pressure was very low for the first few days and I had trouble getting out of bed. The staff allowed me to stay another night and I understood my feelings so I stayed another night which greatly helped with my confidence before heading home. I have received good communication from the hospital through letters and texts messages reminding me of appointments which has been helpful. The Royal Orthopaedic hospital has delivered everything and more whilst going though my major operation. I feel comfortable moving forward in the future with the processes and everyone who works there.
