I had my surgery at Clementine Churchill on the 2nd May 2024. My weight loss journey started a month before that when I had my consultation with Aruna Munasinghe. As soon as I'd spoke with him I knew he was the surgeon for me. We spoke lengthly about the different procedures and what was best for me. Operation day I was very nervous, but I was soon put at ease when he called round to my private room before surgery. We chatted and the nerves soon went.
