Very satisfied with attention shown & explanations given

Mr Girish was exceptionally professional and courteous throughout all my consultations, including face to face as well as over email. I also highlight that Mr Girish was on holiday prior to my scheduled surgery and was able to take time to email back via his secretary, Pauline. Both of whom were very responsive and took a duty of care to ensure my queries were answered. During the day of the procedure what I was particularly impressed with was Mr Girish's bedside manner. My daughter who was with me at the time had commented that it supported her to feel that I was in very safe hands. Hence, based on my experience I would highly recommend Mr Girish.

I found Mr Girish very easy to approach and he listened to my explanation of the symptoms and acted upon them. He organised an MRI scan which revealed a number of partially blocked arteries. He undertook an angioplasty procedure and followed that several weeks later with a second, in a separate area, when the first had not solved the problem.

Girish was fantastic. He managed to arrange my operation with the hospital earlier than the initial date they had offered me. I was due to get married and having the operation earlier ensured that my leg had time to fully heal.
4.5
Mr Girish Girish's manner was one of confidence in his surgical skills, which was very reassuring just before my surgery! However, the conversation before the surgery felt a bit rushed, especially as I had never met Mr Girish Girish before and he was speaking quite quickly. He did answer a few of my questions thoroughly. (I know he had many patients to see, but the Anaesthetist managed a calmer visit.) Mr Girish Girish did not visit me in my hospital room the day of or the after my surgery - the nursing staff had said he may or may not visit. I was fine with that as Mr Girish Girish had said he would see me 6 weeks after the surgery. Mr Girish Girish was much more friendly, calmer and easier to talk to when I saw him at my 6 weeks post-surgery appointment. He still exuded reassuring confidence and answered all my questions clearly as before. He seemed genuinely pleased at my successful and unexpectedly quick recovery (because my chronic health conditions make all recoveries usually slow, very slow!). He was firm with his reminders and advice for what to avoid in the next months in order to allow the surgery to heal properly and there was genuine concern on his part. Overall, I would highly recommend the services of Mr Girish Girish as his surgical skills are excellent and he is a reassuringly confident, genuinely informative and ultimately caring surgeon.
