I am always treated very professionally by Mr Eddy. He listens attentively during our conversations and encourages me to be fully involved in decision making. This in turn gives me confidence to ask questions in order to understand my condition more fully so that I am in a much better place than previously.

Mr Gray is clearly very experienced, yet his manner exudes confidence and puts one at ease. He is very approachable and is happy to answer questions and offer reassurance when needed. Having been diagnosed with prostate cancer at an early stage via the NHS I was offered either active surveillance or prostate removal, neither option to my mind allowed me to carry on with life as "normal", this was a life changing news! Having been advised that other treatments were available I made contact with Sage Urology who obtained my medical records for consideration. Mr Laniado discussed options with myself and my wife via a video call and suggested a further MRI scan to ensure that the suggested HIFU treatment was appropriate. I was then advised of any possible side effects in a factual manor based on past statistics, and the decision was made to proceed with HIFU treatment, by this time having spoken to Mr Laniado on numerous occasions there was no question in my mind this was the best way to proceed. Mr Laniado's team set up all appointment to suit me and could not be more helpful in getting the procedure arranged as quickly as possible. The procedure itself was undertaken as a day case, on arrival I was seen by Mr Laniado who repeated what any possible complications may be and double checked I was happy to proceed. On waking from the operation I was in no pain and was allowed home, the following morning I was able to go out for coffee and required no pain killers. Within 8 days of the operation I had a further MRI Scan and a further consultation with Mr Laniado confirmed that I no longer had cancer, equally I have no side effects and remain fully functional! I feel privileged to have been treated by Mr Laniado, he is clearly passionate about his work and clearly wants the best possible outcome for those in his care, he has also provided me with encourage to continue with my wight loss and provided dietary advice to minimise my risk of being hit with cancer again. I can not thank Mr Laniado enough for his care, reassurance and efficiency, my life now goes on as it was before my diagnosis, the problem is sorted, all thanks to Mr Laniado and his team, simple brilliant!

Very understanding of my situation

Clear and helpful in the first consultation. Not pushy about the treatment options available despite my concerns. Calming and reassuring on the day of surgery which was successul and addressed an issue I had been living with and on an NHS waiting list for 6-months.

I was impressed by his calm profesional manner. He provided clear explanations of medical issues and procedures in a way that was accessible to a layman. He took time to understand my concerns as a patient and to answer all my questions. He made the test data available to me so I had the opportunity to keep my own patient records. His personal assistant responded promptly to all my emails and managed the adminstrative matters competently and effectively. He has that rare skill of making you feel like you are his only patient, while you have the comfort of knowing that you are not!

I’d recommend Dr Castiglione without any hesitation. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and also has a very calm, reassuring manner. He is also genuinely sympathetic and caring. I feel extremely fortunate to have been treated by him.

In my experience, Professor Frank Chinegwundoh has a warm and calm manner and I immediacy felt at ease to discuss my medical issues. I would certainly continue to use him should I need to and would definitely recommend.

Mr Yassin was on time and explained my case very well. He was easy to speak to and put me at ease.
