I’m very pleased with my decision to have my procedures performed by Dr. Jay. My first procedure was to correct a deviated septum in May. I was extremely happy with both the results and the level of care before and after surgery, which is why I returned to Dr. Jay for a tonsillectomy in December. The pre-operative process was thorough and reassuring. During my initial consultation, Dr. Jay ran the necessary tests to confirm I was a suitable candidate for surgery. He explained my condition clearly and set realistic expectations for the procedure and recovery. On the day of surgery, Dr. Jay and his team were calm, professional, and reassuring. He visited me both before and after the procedure and explained how everything had gone. At my follow-up appointment, he was extremely thorough, reviewed the findings in detail, and shared all relevant documentation. Dr. Jay’s communication before, during, and after both procedures was excellent. He was prompt in responding whenever I had concerns about my recovery or pain levels and ensured I was seen quickly when I thought there might be complications. He listened carefully to my concerns and provided clear, practical guidance to address each one. Overall, I felt well cared for, informed, and supported throughout the entire process, and I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Jay.

I had two excellent experiences at the Cleveland yesterday. First Norman did the most thorough and careful echocardiogram. He took endless trouble so as to give the cardiologist views of my heart and its valves from every angle and perspective. The cardiologist was most impressed and helped by all the additional information this gave him. Dr Sam Dawkins, my cardiologist told me and showed me by using these images how well the TAVI and the reduction of the septum are working as they have not only hugely improved flow through my aortic valve but also through my mitral valve. Dr Dawkins is a brilliant cardiologist and an amazing thinker. I was faced with open heart surgery to replace two valves and excision of thickened areas of heart muscle; a very risky operation with a long and maybe unsuccessful period of recovery. Dr Dawkins devised the novel procedures he carried out on me on 24/10/24. The success of this is totally down to his skill and the trouble he took. He was excellently supported by the doctors and staff of the Cleveland during the operation. I hope he is able to share the knowledge of my operation with other cardiologists so more patients can avoid open heart surgery and be given back their health the way I was. Thank you Dr Dawkins

My journey started with a random blood test where high calcium and parathyroid levels were found. After further testing I was diagnosed with Hyperparathyroidism. I then set out to find a surgeon to complete my parathyroidectomy. After an extensive search I found Shad Khan. My initial consultation went well and my surgery was scheduled at the New Foscote Hospital in Banbury. I would like to thank Mr Khan for his excellent care and skill, my recovery has been smooth, and I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. I found Mr Khan to be an exceptional surgeon with incredible skill and truly compassionate, and reassuring approach. Mr Khan's expertise truly made a difference to my life, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been in his care. I would also like to extend my thanks to all the supporting staff at the New Foscote Hospital who were also very kind and professional.

I had a dermatology appointment for a mole. My consultant told me it needs to be excised for a biopsy, and this would have the double role of treatment; by excising the mole, the “problem” would be fixed. I followed through with the procedure, and upon receiving results from the biopsy two weeks later, my consultant informed me that I would have to come back for a second excision! I was surprised, since my verbal communication with the consultant my understanding was that the initial excision was all that was needed. I felt that I was scammed into going through the same (800£!) procedure twice, when the whole thing could have been done in one go. I refused to return to this consultant.

I arrived for my appointment with Mr Grant for my update on my operation for my FULL Knee Replacement. Mr Grant was very pleased with the progress i have made, and commented that I had surpassed some of his patients who had only had a Partial Knee Replacement. I am very pleased with the result of my operation and must say I have worked hard with the Physiotherapy to get the movement in my knee to the condition it is now. I'd just like to say anybody who undergoes this operation, keep up with your exercises and you'll be happy with the result. Still have about 5 weeks to go and hopefully I'll be back to playing Golf, Fishing and Walking at the weekends again.

I’m a quite nervous patient and I always inform staff of that plus the fact that I’m on blood thinners! The nurse putting in the cannula took ages and it felt sore! However as I don’t look at the needle going in I didn’t realise what was happening until another nurse saw through the window and came rushing in and pulled the rubber tourniquet off my arm! I looked down and saw that blood was gushing down my arm! I said OMG and was shocked and it sent me into stress

Mr Murthy was most kind and was willing to operate but said that services were not available and that the anesthetist would not operate. He advised me to continue via NHS. Given these facts and that this was the 4th consultant I have seen I am far from happy. No criticism of Mr Murthy he was extremely kind and honest.
