After working in the UK as a Consultant until September 2015, Dr Sohal moved to the UAE and was appointed as a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, which is a tertiary level hospital catering to children in the UAE.
With a passion for research and new innovative treatments in Paediatric Neurology, Dr Sohal has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals. He has also been an invited speaker at national and international meetings.
Dr Sohal is a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), UK, and completed his comprehensive postgraduate training in General Paediatrics and Neonatology as a paediatric resident and registrar in the prestigious Alder Hey Children's Hospital, Liverpool, UK. He was awarded Completion of Certified Training (CCT) in Paediatric Neurology and Paediatrics by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2012. Dr Aman Sohal is excellent as he explains things in a very calm and precise manner.

If you find yourself visiting Dr Sohal, chances are something out of the ordinary is happening with your little one. Not something any parent wants. Dr Sohal was quick to follow up on his initial examination of our son and although it was a shock to hear his prognosis, he was careful to ensure we understood what it meant. After the blood tests and genetic investigation, he was again careful to have the right specialist explain the findings of the report to us. The way in which he laid out the recommended course of treatments and encouraged us to choose what happened when made us feel in control of the decisions around our son's ensuing therapies. The way his team takes care of us when he's not there is also outstanding, and a testament to the way he has set up the clinic. The ensemble of physiotherapists, ABA therapists and Speech therapists also makes his clinic a one-stop-option for treatment - something very important for a toddler who has therapy 5 days a week. He's also insistent on the patient contact employees all wearing the proper protective equipment - gloves, masks and face shields. I am appreciative of his service and his role in the early detection of the syndrome we've begun to manage.

Dr. Aman is a excellent pediatric Neurologist. He listens to us very patiently. He explains to us about the medicines that he prescribes. We know that our child is in safe hands under Dr. Amans care. Best thing is that our child likes his Doctor very much.
