Dr. Sarah Almarzooqi is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist with a career spanning more than 17 years in the field of mental health. She holds key positions at Aman Lil Afia Clinic, where she serves as a Head of Psychology, Clinical Supervisor, and as an adjunct professor of Psychology at the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU).

Dr. Almarzooqi has received specialised training in clinical psychology. She earned her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) from the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience at King's College, London. During her training, she worked at renowned healthcare institutions, including the National Health Service (NHS) at Maudsley Hospital and St Thomas' Hospital in London. These experiences allowed her to develop a wide range of clinical skills, including assessment, diagnosis, behaviour modification, Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Dr. Almarzooqi is deeply committed to advancing her expertise in clinical psychology and mental health. She has contributed to focused research papers on various topics, including chronic pain, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), depression, and addiction. Currently, she is actively involved in research projects focusing on Healthcare Workers' (HCW) Mental Health Wellbeing and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
