Dr Malagelada is extremely professional and knowledgeable but also very empathetic and caring. I was quite nervous and very much in pain before my first visit but he was very gentle with my foot, reassuring and clear about the action plan. All the follow up recommendations and diagnostics were dealt with very quickly, also thanks to his very friendly and efficient PA. Overall, I felt in great hands and I believe anyone would be lucky to have him as their doctor.

I found Andrew a simply excellent Surgeon. He uses cutting edge technology with tailor made ankle prosthetics. He explains very clearly what is involved and is with you every step of your journey. The operation for an ankle replacement at the Wellington was seamless. I was out 2 days later, pain free. There was minimal swelling and 2 months later you can hardly notice the scar. Due to the precision of Andrew's surgery and detailed follow-up Recovery Plan I am looking to return to my profession within 11 weeks of the operation.

He was amazing—super attentive, listened to all my concerns, and understood my urgency to return to training as soon as possible. His expertise was evident as he swiftly organized an MRI and a follow-up consultation on the same day, ensuring I received my recovery plan without delay. Dr. Ramesh’s diagnostic skills and proactive approach are truly remarkable. He is not only a great doctor but also exceptionally skilled and dedicated to his patients. Mr Stapleton was a pleasure to be around, he kept me calm and relaxed when I'm not particularly good around needles etc. He has a great depth of knowledge and is a real people person, I couldn't recommend him more.

I came to Dr Bownes for a second opinion on two MRIs of my knee. He did not provide a clear response to whether my ACL was damaged despite repeatedly asking him, and he did not seem worried my knee pain was left undiagnosed. I did not feel my concerns were heard during or after the meeting, or that he looked at the MRIs carefully, and he seemed to have made up his mind before looking at them. Dr. Bownes did not seem very interested in my case.
