I cannot praise and thank Hugh Apthorp highly enough. This was my second hip replacement surgery, the first being a few years ago. Whilst I was satisfied with my prior op, this was a wholly different experience. Mr Apthorp’s non-invasive technique has been a revelation. My recovery is significantly better. The lack of muscle damage has made a huge difference. In addition his calm, reassuring manner made me feel completely at ease through the whole journey. He did a total right hip replacement and now I am living without pain for the first time in 2 years and 4 weeks after my operation I walked 2.2 miles one day. I am 84 years old.
