When I first visited Dr Andrich, I thought I had lost control of my life with a constant cycle of cystitis which was being treated with months of antibiotics - which I now realise was making the symptoms worse. At my first consultation, Dr Andrich gave an alternative and sustainable way of treating the condition together with a comprehensive medical explanation for the constant bouts I was experiencing. I was prescribed Uromune as a vaccine. What a lifeline - this vaccine has changed my life and I haven't had an infection since taking it. I am so relieved. I wasn't sure the impact would be so significant but I feel utter relief having broken a terrible cycle. Should I get another infection, I wouldn't hesitate to book another appointment. I am so grateful for Dr Andrich's support and help.

Mr Cohens approach could not be faulted, he was kind and considerate following my illness "sepsis", he explained concisely how he intended to treat me, he spent a considerable time with me, he explained what he intended to do if the removal of the catheter did not function.

Mr Ashwin Sridhar

Bladder Pain
Prostate Cancer
Prostatectomy (Robotic)

I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer and was most concerned that as my prostate was not enlarged and I had zero urological issues I would come out post Op with urinary and erectile problems as my MRI showed my cancer was on both lobes close to nerves controlling function. I contacted Mr Ashwin Sridhars secretary and I was booked in on the same day for an initial consultation. He explained that he could perform a Retzius sparing robot assisted radical prostatectomy with NeuroSAFE , In his opinion this would give me the best chance to minimise nerve damage, to preserve my erectile function and give me a better outcome. This was not available is not available with the NHS. Mr Sridhar clearly explained the procedure and booked me into The London Clinic for surgery 3 weeks later. He sent me to a physio a few days later to learn the correct technique and start daily pelvic floor exercises. The day of surgery 30 May Mr Sridhar came to see me and ran through some points in a calm professional manner with Dr Veda Ponnaiah The charming anaesthetist. Immediately after surgery Mr Sridhar phoned my partner in person to let her know he was pleased with the outcome and made a personal visit a few hrs later in the ward. He was very pleased with the way surgery went and that he had managed to save most of my nerves and was pretty confident he cleared all the cancer. The London hospital cared for me very well and all the nurses and staff were lovely. I was up taking steps 5 hrs after the operation. Surgery went so well that I left hospital after 2 nights and was allowed to pass urine normally without using my suprapubic catheter that I disconnected throughout the day but plugged it in at night only. I was home and walking 30 min stretches and felt comfortable on day 3 and It’s now been less than 2 weeks and I’m driving walking much longer distances and can return to work. I have Zero pain with Zero bladder leakage I can hold bladder for around 85% as long now as could before the operation and have been told this should improve in the next few months. I also have full erectile function. I am 59 years old and fairly fit. To be honest I was expecting much worse results post op but I am truly amazed how well I feel but remember you also need to put in some effort to increase recovery. A huge Thank you to Mr Ashwin Sridhar for his professional manner, clear guidance and communication, amazing surgical skill with experience and expertise. I also want to thank all his team that assisted him. I would recommend anyone who has prostate or bladder issues to contact Mr Sridhar as at least in my case I found him to be outstanding with unimaginable results. Thanks again. Alan Y.

Rowland was very professional and explained the procedure well. The procedure involved placing a mesh sling to the urethra to control bladder flow and was very successful.
