I recently underwent surgery for an island flap reconstruction around a lesion site on my lower left leg, as well as a sentinel lymph node biopsy in my left groin. I am pleased to share my experience and provide a review of the procedure. My experience with the island flap reconstruction and sentinel lymph node biopsy was positive, and I am grateful for the expertise of Mr Damir Kosutic and the surgical team, my recovery is going very well. Mr Kosutic is a detailed surgeon and explains everything in an easy to digest manner, putting you at ease straight away. I am happy with my overall experience.

Mr Iqbal explained everything thoroughly on what results he could achieve with my extended tummy tuck and liposuction. I was amazed with how neat the scar was and was blown away by the results. It was far better than I could ever imagine and totally changed my whole appearance. I would have no qualms in recommending Mr Iqbal to anyone considering cosmetic surgery.

Amazing from start to finish, I was a bit nervous at first as my implants were over 20 years old & I couldn’t really remember much about them. Lost contact with my original surgeon but knew I had to get them replaced. From the moment I seen Mr Siddiqui he put me at ease straight away. I want to say how happy I am with the results of my breast reduction, which was performed by Mr Ghali and his Team in early April of this year. I knew from my initial consultation with Mr Ghali that I had found the perfect surgeon to perform this procedure. He immediately put my mind at ease, by firstly confirming that I did need this reduction, because this had been something I had been considering for years. Then I really appreciated how he included my family in the discussions and allowed for them to ask any questions, and no question was a 'silly question'. I also appreciated Mr Ghali offering to see me as many times as possible if I need additional reassurance or further questions to be answered. And I would always get quick responses from his PA, Emma. The attention to detail on the day of the surgery made me feel even more relaxed and confident in Mr Ghali's ability to do what I had asked for and he had promised to deliver. The aftercare from the staff over the time in hospital was so good. Mr Ghali came the next day to do a follow-up prior to discharging me and I knew I was going home with a smile on my face. I must say the pain levels for me were quite minimal, so that added to my happiness. My follow-up appointment a week later was again very reassuring again allowing for all questions to be answered, I would highly recommend Mr Ghali to anyone who is considering this type of surgery, and can definitely say you will not regret making that decision.

My experience with Dr Awad has been fantastic. I knew from my consultation that I was in excellent hands as Dr Awad advised me on what was best for me and my body based on what I had asked for and he explained the entire process in great detail. He made me feel relaxed and comfortable, so I had no doubts about my operation at all. He has an incredibly gentle nature and really listens to you as an individual. The experience I had with Dr Chakravorty was outstanding, he was really good with explaining exactly what was going to happen and answered all of my questions in an easy to understand way. You know you are in good hands from the moment you first meet Mr Nanidis. I was extremely nervous about having DIEP surgery but he puts you at ease, explains the procedure very well and has an excellent bedside manner. He also checks on you often straight after the surgery and through the follow ups. Amazingly I didn't have to have drains and the quality and neatness of the surgery is exceptional. I couldn't recommend him more highly.
