My experience with Mr Christopher Young and his Senior Medical Secretary, Pamela Stewart was outstanding. Mr Young is a highly experienced and accomplished surgeon, in whom I had complete confidence. At my first consultation, he clearly explained the options available to me and gave me his considered advice, which I was content to take. The procedure went very well, and I am recovering very satisfactorily. Most importantly my heart is working more efficiently I have been energised by the whole experience.

Mr Vohra was exceptionally warm, friendly, reassuring and open from the outset - a very easy man to relate to. He was ready to give me as much time as I needed to get a good understanding of the technicalities of his Minimally Invasive surgical approach to heart valve repair/replacement including the risks and benefits. He was supportive and understanding during some of the stresses I experienced post-surgery. I regard Mr Vohra as a rare find and am so grateful to him for giving my old heart a new chance at life.

Mr Roberts was at all times calm and reassuring. I felt completely safe and confident in his hands. His explanations were very clear.

Mr Okiror was a calm reassuring and knowledgeable surgeon who explained everything well and clearly, with excellent follow - up. I felt totally safe in his care.

Our experience with our 8 month old baby boy was amazing with Mr Kostolny, we were worried for months and he put us at ease on the day explaining the lead up and the procedure during the surgery. He reassured us in our room before we went down to theatre. Of course we were still worried during the surgery but we were overjoyed when we heard it all went well. His scar was so neatly stitched and has recovered so well. We cannot thank Mr Kostolny for saving our baby boy! Forever thankful!

I feel very privileged to have been cared for by Mr Hunt & his team. From our first meeting he made me feel that I was a person rather than just a patient, ensuring I understood all that he said & inviting questions. He is an exceedingly courteous man with a warm, modest & caring manner. He came to see me in the hospital ward the day after my operation to reassure me that all had gone well. I have much to thank him for.

From the first visit Mr Ghosh explained to me and my family about the procedure and all the pros and cons. He telephoned us after some time to discuss our decision. He was very kind, gentle and explained all that would be involved. Mr Ghosh gave me confidence and reassurance that I would be in the hands of a good team. His bedside manner was excellent. I cannot praise him enough for his excellent surgery and for saving my life.

He was honest about waiting times for the operation. He explained everything about the procedure & was very good in his follow up after the operation.

Ms Beddow always puts me at my ease and I feel confident of her treatment, couldn’t ask for a better consultant.
