I am 6 months on from a hip resurfacing with Mr Grogan and the outcome is unbelievable. I've made a practically full return to the sports I love, running, cycling, 5 aside and even skiing, with no pain at all. Mr Grogan was first rate throughout, from the initial consultations around diagnosis and options, to the surgery and then the post op advice. I'm very grateful for the care I have received which has been first rate. Thank you.

Amazing explained everything

I was seen exactly on time. Mr Parwez was polite and to the point, giving me advice about decreasing my pain in the first appointment.

Mr Dehne was exceptional, from my initial consultation through to my review, twelve weeks following my operation. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Dehne to anybody considering total knee replacement.

Absolutely excellent - I really felt he listened to my symptoms and he fully explained the course of action and more importantly the reasons why I was experiencing pain with a realistic time frame for recovery.

On the whole, a lovely consultant. The reason for the 4 stars was a very slight language barrier, and also explanation of surgery in recovery when still groggy from anaesthetic. Not his fault, just time restraints. Happy for him to perform surgery in the future, if needed?

Prof London put me at ease when I discovered that I had to have a half knee replacement and the whole process and operation went extremely well along with my recovery

Mr Bailey explained the best option for me. As I am young, he recommended a partial knee replacement and I was booked into Winchester hospital after being on the NHS waiting list for nearly a year. Mr Bailey visited me before and after the surgery and left me in the hands of the nurses and physios. I went home the following evening after being looked after very well. I saw the physio team at 2 weeks and 6 weeks post surgery to check how the exercises were going at home. I saw Mr Bailey at 3 months post surgery and he showed me the x-rays and explained again what had been done. Mr Bailey was friendly, professional and put me completely at ease at all times. The surgery has made a real difference to my mobility and I would be very happy for Mr Bailey to do the surgery on my second knee.

Mr Duffy was so good at explaining everything that I needed to know about my knee condition. He listened to everything that I was experiencing with my knee condition and had a lovely caring manner.

Very successful, Mr Oakley was helpful and reassuring throughout operation.
