I went to see Dr Orteu on the recommendation of another dermatologist and was very grateful to have been referred to her. Dr Orteu was a reassuring voice at a time I was extremely anxious. She took the time to explain her findings and the steps going forward as well as understand my anxiety around them.

He prescribed new drugs to address a long standing skin condition - time will tell on this - but also discovered new areas of concern that will require minor surgery. Literally one of the best medical consultations I have had in a while! The initial purpose of the appointment was mole checking which he thoroughly did even proceeding to minor treatment within the first consultation as well as a step by step future plan. Apart from the initial reason of the appointment though, he went through my daily skincare routine providing advice and guidance above and beyond the protection of moles/ skin health.
