Entering the lady at reception says straight down the corridor to room 6. Door at the end of the corridor says waiting room 3 so I go back and ask and she says yes. Going in, room 6 says do not disturb. But I’m wondering if it’s been left like that by accident. There’s the sound of wind playing but no sign explaining why so I spend a few minutes trying to figure out if it’s wind or a speaker. This could be handled by explaining clearly where to go and what will happen - particularly important to people who are neurodivergent, which is why I’m here. I’m anxious enough without extra cognitive load. She could say “Straight down the corridor into waiting room 3, the doctor is in room 6. If it shows do not disturb then wait and he’ll be with you shortly. There’s a speaker playing wind sounds to try to put you at ease.”

My experience overall was really positive, the groups & the one-to-one sessions were really helpful. I also felt H&I coming in to carry the message was extremely supportive for ongoing support when I left. I felt the timetable was good & had a few other extra bits like yoga, reiki & gong. Swimming & the gym was also offered but unfortunately didn’t happen. I would recommend treatment here for anyone seeking recovery and needing to detox but I think on-going support in the rooms of a 12 step fellowship is imperative for continued sobriety. Thank you being my spring board into recovery, I will be forever grateful!

I didn't visit the clinic itself, but the remote experience was perfect. Swift replies containing all the information needed, flexible appointments with little waiting time and very friendly.

I contacted Dementech Neurosciences regarding my son who was suffering from a neurological disorder. His condition worsened and he was developing new symptoms. I as a parent wanted help and a diagnosis for my son. Dementech Neurosciences was recommended by a family member, I was so glad of the recommendation as they were amazing. Josephine who I spoke to on the phone was brilliant, really nice really understanding actually listened to me and advised me what to do. I was seen by Dr Oliver Bernath a neurologist at the hospital who was really nice he observed my son and gave us a diagnosis which actually took a load of weight off me, and gave me good reassurance and advised me for what to do and how my son to recover. I am really thankful for the quick response from the hospital and the staff.

I can’t recommend PBH highly enough. I’ve been going for years and can always rely on my therapist’s compassion, understanding and counsel. I’m in an all together different and happier place through the work I’ve done with PBH. Very good facilities, however definitely some issues with staffing and care.

It really helped me break away from my addiction. I could go online at my home which is where I use the most so I could start using what I learn straight away.

Been today to see Dr Masud, for my adult daughter. A1 service, extremely lovely Doctor, caring and professional. Following assessment and diagnosis explained everything in detail, from diagnosis, treatment and aftercare. He put my daughter at ease and gave her the reassurance and support she needed. Thank you Dr Masud.. you are a credit to you profession.
