Dr Pericleous explained my condition clearly and outlined my treatment options. Dr Pericleous has an exemplary bedside manner always including my concerns and questions as part of his care plan. I feel such trust being under the care of Dr Pericleous he always completed every step of my care leaving no stone unturned even taking the time to keep me updated personally. From the Moment I met Prof Patel at our first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. He explained the surgery that I required (whipple) in great detail and answered the questions that myself and my Wife had with great care and compassion and really made me feel a lot happier and comfortable as to what I should expect over the coming months. In hospital, the Prof once again demonstrated to me his passion for, just being one of the best at what he does. Everytime he came to see how I was progressing, still in hospital, post op, he listen intently to how I was feeling, not just physically but mentally as well and showed me so much compassion, love and care, even on Christmas morning the Prof came in to see how I was doing, he didn't need to, when many had finished work for the holiday. Last autumn, I had my third procedure (over five years) with Miss Pissanou, and in my view, I could be in no better hands. Miss Pissanou is an expert in her field and her bedside manner is exceptional--warm and personable. She also engages you by taking the time to explain her thinking and recommendations. In general, her standards are very high, and she has my complete confidence. She will always be the person to whom I go to first for relevant medical needs, and I will continue to refer others to her.
