Since my second child I had suffered with abdominal separation. Overlaid with 2 caesarian sections and a hysterectomy my stomach felt like it was almost not attached anymore. Constant bloating, constant questions around pregnancy and a need to wear clothes that concealed the bulge. Mr Matthew James understood what I needed from our first conversation. He was empathetic but also super practical and factual. To me, what had felt horrible and admonal since my second pregnancy was something that he knew instantly he could rectify. It was the first time I’d spoken to somebody who didn’t make me feel like it was something that I could cure myself or equally learn to live with as part of the privilege of growing older. Mr James, made me feel reassured and safe. My operation was explained carefully and the recovery process not sugar coated. The day treatment actually worked well for me. To any women contemplating this, please go for it. The recovery isn’t easy, yes you have a new (but not bad) scar but the results are really life changing. I would recommend Mr James to anyone considering this treatment.

Dr Kush Joshi has been great. He explained the diagnosis and recommended procedure in great detail. He has a very calm and friendly manner which created a very relaxing atmosphere.

Following an xray I was treated immediately, it fixed 90% of the problem and relieved the pain. A follow up appointment fixed the remaining minor issue. I was hoping for a miracle and I was very surprised to get one.

Dr Dudeja was very understanding and gave me time to explain my symptoms. We then discussed next steps, I had so much confidence in her. I am perimenopausal at 38, Dr Dudeja, explored all options with me. She did not medicalise my symptoms but instead considered the impact and affect they were having on ny life. We have tried various HRT, Dr Dudeja reviewed me and made adjustments. We have now found a brilliant combination and my symptoms and quality of life have significantly improved. I visited Nick Aresti in relation to a nerve injury caused to my radial nerve by the NHS during reconstructive surgery on my elbow. He was able to assist me with my peripheral nerve injury. Nick explained what was likely to have happened to my hand and how it could be repaired. Nick was able to put me in touch with other nerve specialists that could help me in getting a proper diagnosis and treatment. I felt that Nick went out of his way to help me during what was a very difficult time for me. He was able to put my mind at ease and help me get answers, when I wasn’t getting anywhere with the NHS. I was grateful to meet Nick and all that he had done for me. Nick has kept in contact with me during the process. Nick is an excellent consultant that is very knowledgeable in his field.

Mr Chris Duff has done a great job with my recent biopsy, leaving a very small, neat scar. These things are always worrying for a patient, but I was put at ease by Mr Duff and his lovely, caring team . Mr Duff explained the procedure in detail, and possible outcomes, and took the time to listen to my concerns, answering my many questions both before and after my procedure, in a very professional and kindly manner.
