The recommendation of the procedure was clear along with clear assessment of risks both of the procedure and of not undertaking the procedure. He was available prior to the procedure and on release from ICU and clearly answered the questions that my wife and I had. He had provided contact details sound we have any concerns following discharge as well as access to a post operative support and a follow up consultation after day four weeks. As such feel and have felt well supported.

I found Mr Aktuerk excellent and could not have wished for a better cardiac surgeon. I cannot praise him enough for the extremely professional way he treated me. His explanation of the operation was very clear and understandable and laid to rest many of my worries.

His manner was reassuring and exuded a confidence throughout, from explaining the procedure I was about to experience, being a triple heart bypass which resulted in being a quadruple, the daily visits following the procedure to explain how it had all gone and checking on my wellbeing and monitoring my recovery, to the final consultation to confirm the success of the procedure and that all was well. Finding myself in the position of needing to check my cardiovascular health, I could not have made a better choice than fortuitously finding Dr Graham Cole.
