I had a nerve problem in my back causing severe pain. Two other specialists had told me I either needed to live with the pain or have an operation. Mr Aylott examined me and explained that I had other choices. Within a week I had a spinal injection and have been painfree since. Mr Aylott is thorough, kind, highly professional and skilled. I would recommend him highly.

Having already had a bad experience with NHS general surgeons, I was expecting Mr Al Ani to be correcting NHS mess up and completing the surgery. However, I arrived, NBM, only to have a consultation, which I thought had been done on the Saturday. We have now agreed to complete the procedure in August. I guess this was all down to miscommunication. That said, Mr Al Ani is a very nice consultant and I’m confident that he will resolve the mess created by NHS general surgeons.

Mr von Ark was very good at explaining the pros and cons of having surgery, and at no time did I feel pressurised into having surgery.

Very knowledgable and informative with a proactive attitude

I didn’t leave feeling as though my health issue was any further forward in being diagnosed or treated. I was told I had an enlarged artery and a second opinion would be required - creases chance of stroke. This was several months ago and heard nothing despite asking twice by email what the follow up was. I waited several months for the appointment in the first place, delayed because the referral had been ‘forgotten about’.

Superb, I'm really pleased with my treatment. I had a pinched nerve which radiated pain down my right arm to my fingertips all day, every day. Dr Reynolds saw me & I was sent to have scans & tests. When the results came back, they confirmed a pinched nerve, along with significant degenerative changes occurring in one particular area of my neck. Dr Reynolds then requested a nerve block to see if that could alleviate the pain, which it did, but ultimately, I needed surgery. I had a complete understanding of why I was having surgery, what was the preferred approach was the (also, what plan b might be) and what the chances of success were. I find Dr Reynolds very professional but personable as well to make sure I understood some of the jargon. The operation was a success, in my opinion, & I am incredibly thankful to Dr Reynolds for the fantastic experience so far.

My daughter & I met Mr Chaudhary for advice. He was excellent & explained in detail regarding operation. He came to talk to my husband & I before & after operation. His anaesthetists also was excellent. Very reassuring.

Consultations were very brief and limited in the information given. No follow up to unsuccessful treatment offered. Messages left to office to make contact for follow up not answered.

Mr Kazzaz made me feel reasured pre and post op. He explained what was needed to be and the procedure clearly so as I understood. He listened and explained questions I wanted to know with a good and happy manner
