I didn’t leave feeling as though my health issue was any further forward in being diagnosed or treated. I was told I had an enlarged artery and a second opinion would be required - creases chance of stroke. This was several months ago and heard nothing despite asking twice by email what the follow up was. I waited several months for the appointment in the first place, delayed because the referral had been ‘forgotten about’.

I was diagnosed with a meningioma and asked for a referral to Mr Dorward after careful research. I was very impressed with both the expertise and care he showed in explaining my options. I had an operation to remove the tumour and have been delighted with the result and would gladly recommend him to anyone else in the same position.

Very knowledgable and informative with a proactive attitude

Superb, I'm really pleased with my treatment. I had a pinched nerve which radiated pain down my right arm to my fingertips all day, every day. Dr Reynolds saw me & I was sent to have scans & tests. When the results came back, they confirmed a pinched nerve, along with significant degenerative changes occurring in one particular area of my neck. Dr Reynolds then requested a nerve block to see if that could alleviate the pain, which it did, but ultimately, I needed surgery. I had a complete understanding of why I was having surgery, what was the preferred approach was the (also, what plan b might be) and what the chances of success were. I find Dr Reynolds very professional but personable as well to make sure I understood some of the jargon. The operation was a success, in my opinion, & I am incredibly thankful to Dr Reynolds for the fantastic experience so far.

Dr Halfpenny is extremely knowledgeable in his field, very personable and understanding of the emotional complexities of chronic pain. Takes time to thoroughly explain diagnoses, gives opportunity to ask questions and very reassuring.

Mr Brown was very polite and professional in his initial greeting and apologised for the vey slight delay. Questioned me on my initial achilles injury leading to subsequent nerve pain. He made notes on all of my replies. He then examined my injury. and tested the results and state of my physical ability since my injury, including feet, leg and back. He explained that I would need an MRI scan and from the result decide what treatment he would advise and what could be done to deal with my long standing pain. I left feeling hopeful well treated
