Dr Abdullah Mohammed is a very warm charismatic professional man. I have seen him privately on a number of occasions and he has taken the time to fully explain my options for my heart health. He responded very quickly which was hugely reassuring and by some divine invention he also does his NHS work in the hospital where I was admitted as an nhs patient. He has therefore, now added me to his NHS list and I can see him at the first opportunity either as NHS , where he follows me up,or as a private patient as I have contributed to both. He originally just introduced himself to me. I was sedated not unconscious so could hear him being generous with comments to collegues, during the procedure. Later in the ward, he described carefully yet simply, exactly what he had needed to do. When I became unwell he reacted considerately and decisively swapping orders for painkillers and generally trying to make me feel better. I felt like a human being being treated, not just a clinical challenge.

I typically feel nervous when seeing doctors, as I’ve experienced rude, impatient doctors in the past. However, doctors like Dr Archbold really help me feel more comfortable with visiting hospitals. Dr Archbold listened to every symptom and every concern of mine very carefully. I’m an anxious person, particularly when it comes to health. I was incredibly grateful that Dr Archbold took the time and went over everything I mentioned, explained the potential reasons for why I may be experiencing the symptoms and what it means for my health.
