Very clean, nice atmosphere the receptionist very patient

The Portland Hospital gave me a first-class experience as a patient. My surgeon was exceptional, as was the anaesthetist. The care immediately pre- and post- op was the best possible. The nurses were wonderful: friendly, expert and highly attentive while also allowing some privacy as required. They could not have given me better care in any way. The hospital itself was a remarkably pleasant environment - my room and the whole ward was calm, well-designed and spotless. The food was very good indeed and the ambience was everything I had hoped for. I felt I was in the best possible place and my surgery there has had an excellent outcome.

Very easy to obtain an appointment with good follow-ups/check-ins. It was helpful to get a proactive call to arrange a diagnostics test once the request had been submitted.

I had to wait 1 hour 25 mins to be seen, I nearly fell asleep in the waiting room after the reception staff even left for the days. It reminded me of NHS wait times when I go for an appointment.
