From my first consultation with Mr Ewan Kannegieter he explained the various options open for my problem with my left foot where under NHS I would have had either cortisone or fused together. I was a day patient at colchester hospital on 4 separate occasions over a considerable length of time and on the last occasion in November 22 it had not worked at all. I went to see Mr. Livingstone after having severe nerve pain in my feet having recently been diagnosed with diabetes. I cannot begin to describe how excellent he was in helping me. I was extremely anxious with many worries but he has an excellent bedside manner and helped me understand so much in why I was having these symptoms. He allayed any fears I had and did a full battery of tests on my feet with monofilaments, a Doppler test and other tests. I’m so fortunate I saw him and have already had a follow-appointment. His skills at listening and his thoroughness when checking my feet are nothing short of exceptional! If you have foot issues and can make it to his surgery do it!
