Fantastic, very humble and thorough

I was referred to Dr Vroon’s clinic via A&E and was feeling very low and vulnerable but by the time the consultation was finished I was more relaxed and hopeful and feeling that the NHS would do everything it could for me. His approach was gentle, friendly, relaxed and reassuring. I felt he was very respectful of me and my situation. He was very thorough and outlined tests he felt appropriate, what they were for and possible solutions. I felt he was looking at all of the solutions and he explained my journey over the next few months. He spent time ensuring I understood everything and gave me loads of space to ask questions. My mood lifted as he spoke and began to realise that there were tests, results and then future plans. I left the clinic feeling very hopeful and very cared for. I had the best sleep for months after speaking to him. The follow-up consultation was just as helpful and supportive. My health had begun to improve from one of his recommendations and he outlined plans for the following months. I have been through many appointments over the last five years and I can easily say that Dr Vroon’s was the most memorable. He is a special human being with a fantastic bedside manner and meeting him is therapeutic in itself. I am a retired NHS director and have worked with hundred of Doctors, nurses and Consultants over the years and would have felt privileged and blessed to work alongside him. I cant recommend him highly enough.

Dr Lockie has a warm and confident manner, and put my wife and I I at ease as he questioned me about my symptoms. He clearly explained the proposed medical tests going forward which left me with a very positive feeling at the end of the consultation.

I am just starting out with Dr Aisha Opel after having experienced some very disconcerting cardiac symptoms recently. After a mere half an hour appointment, I emerged feeling much relieved - I now understand much better what has been happening and what can be done about it. Altho my recovery will take a while, I am so very grateful to Dr Opel for getting me on the right path.

I've been referred to see Prof. Fields in May 2024, to treat mild underlying anaemia, and meeting him, discussing my health concerns and steps to take moving towards treatment and recovering, have been nothing but great. His knowledge is extensive, his bedside manners are pristine, and his empathy, compassion, respect and professionalism during our consultations so far has given me the certainty that I could not be in any better hands, and very likely I've found my haematoligist for life. Absolutely thriled with his course of action so far. Big shout, as well, to his team of secretaries, who do their best to accomodate appointments, exams, scans, in the shortest time possible, and offering flexibility, when needed (even at short notice). Super efficient. I'm simply delighted and would not hesitate for a second to reccomend him and his whole clinic to family and friends in need.
